About standing just 2.5 games out of first place. I have neither the desire or the time to write a recap of what I suffered through today. We'll be keeping this to a bubble. And today was the ultimate indignity of all. Losing to the lousy, stinky Pittsburgh Pirates at home after leading 5-1 in the sixth inning and 5-4 going into the ninth. This bullpen has broken the great spirit of Mets Nation enough over the last year. This pile of garbage has lost 8 games this year when they led going into the eighth inning. Any of them can go. Any of them. Get them out.
