5 of 6 wins against the Yankees and Phillies at home is a remarkable performance by the New York Mets that absolutely nobody could have seen coming! And to win three games against the arrogant Philadelphia, shut them out, and two of those starts were by Hisinori Takahashi and R....A.....DICKEY!!! It's stunning.
I just hope they are not setting me up for a heartbreaking fall against Milwaukee this weekend. Somehow, I feel pretty good.
Time to get on the road...
