9-3!

How about Gang Green? 29-7 over Houston. Chad, Coleman, Curtis, James Reed, even David Barrett! Great 2nd half. 6th time this year the Jets have shut the opponent out in the 2nd half.

I only have 2 real concerns. One was penalties. This is the least offensive penalized team in football. They averaged 2 or 3 per game. They had 7 yesterday, usually after they made a big play. Granted the officials did a bad job. Think about it. Houston is on their own 3-yard line and punting. Have you ever seen a safety called back because the football was snapped back and instead of going out of the end zone, it struck the official in his fat behind, and then they decide it isn't a safety because they weren't ready? Are you kidding? Fortunately, the Jets overcame it thanks to a great punt return by Santana Moss, but come on! And John Abraham. Let's hope that knee will be OK.

Now if the Jets have to lose one more game this regular season, I hope it's this week. That way Pittsburgh can still beat New England out for home field advantage. As for the Giants, well, the Giants, the Giants...

And it's the end of an era. A sad day. The braids are gone. The beads are gone. Nothing left but long dark brown locks on my the top of my head. So beads, thanks for hanging with me. We had 9 good days together. You will be missed.
